OpenClaw · one connector

Publish to social from OpenClaw.

The agent you already text from your phone gets the one thing it could not do on its own: put the post out under your accounts.

OpenClaw lives on your own machine and answers in the messaging app you already use, which makes it the place a lot of posts begin: a photo sent from a walk, a line typed between meetings, a request to turn yesterday’s notes into something worth sharing. What it could not do by itself is publish under your accounts without you handing it passwords. Connecting 1Social closes that gap without the passwords.

The connection is two commands on the machine OpenClaw runs on. The first saves our server address, the second opens a browser page where you sign in to 1Social once. After that the publishing tools sit next to everything else the agent can reach, and a post you ask for from your phone goes out from our side, whether or not that machine stays awake.

Publishing from OpenClaw

Drawn rather than captured — but the outcomes are the ones this product really produces, including the network that could not be confirmed.

Set me up — what do you need?

Just the accounts. Connect them in the browser once and I can publish from here after that.

Done, connected

I will tell you before publishing if a network cannot take what you wrote.

Good. Drafting the launch note now

Send it over and I will check it before anything goes out.

This photo from today, Instagram and TikTok, tomorrow at noon my time

Uploaded the photo and checked both before scheduling:

Instagram is queued. TikTok wants a JPEG and this one is a PNG — send it again as JPEG and I will add it.

Where to add it in OpenClaw

openclaw mcp set, then openclaw mcp login — both commands are on the MCP page

The address to paste is on the MCP page, printed from live configuration rather than typed into a document — so it cannot be out of date here while being correct there.

What OpenClaw can do once it is connected

Send the photo, ask for the post

A picture you send the agent in chat becomes a file it can upload and attach, so the Instagram or TikTok post can start from your camera roll.

No password in the agent

Sign-in is a browser page on the first login. The agent keeps a token it can refresh, never the password for 1Social or for any network.

Scheduled on our side

A post set for Friday morning is held by 1Social, so the box OpenClaw runs on can sleep, reboot or lose its connection without the post missing its slot.

An agent with its own initiative

OpenClaw can act on standing instructions. Tell it to ask before every publish, because some networks have no way to take a published post back down.

How it works

1

Connect once

~2 min

Link the accounts you use in a browser. OAuth, no passwords typed into a chat, no API keys to paste anywhere.

2

Ask, in your own words

one sentence

Tell OpenClaw to publish to every network you picked, now or on a day you name. No dashboard, no tab switch.

3

Read the receipt

per network

One line per network — what landed, what failed and why, and what genuinely could not be determined.

Signing in when the agent runs on a box with no screen

OpenClaw often runs on a home server or a Mac mini reached over SSH, and the sign-in step prints a local address that a browser on another device cannot open. OpenClaw has a manual fallback for exactly this: open the printed link on any device, finish signing in, then hand the code from the final page back with the login command’s code option. It is worth knowing before the first login rather than halfway through it, because the page that looks broken is the expected one.

A rule of OpenClaw, not ours and not the network’s. From documentation, checked 2026-10-27.

When this is the wrong tool

If you want a dashboard where posts wait in a column until someone approves them, this is not that. OpenClaw acts on what you tell it, the tools publish when called, and the only review step is the agent asking you first — which is a habit you set up, not a gate anyone enforces.

Questions people actually ask

Which commands connect 1Social to OpenClaw?

One command saves the server with OAuth as the sign-in method, a second starts the login and opens the browser. Both are printed on our MCP page from the live server address, along with a check command that confirms the connection works.

Can I post a photo I send OpenClaw from my phone?

Yes. The agent receives it as a file, uploads it to 1Social and attaches it to the post. Instagram and TikTok refuse a post without media, so that is usually how those posts start.

Does the scheduled post need my OpenClaw machine to be on?

No. Once the agent has scheduled it, the post is held and published by 1Social at the time you asked for. The machine can be off by then.
