Facebook · from Claude
Post to a Facebook Page from Claude.
Facebook is the network where Claude’s way of handling media matters least, because a Page post does not need a picture at all.
Most of what people publish to a Facebook Page from Claude is words: an update, an announcement, a longer piece worked out in the conversation. Facebook takes that as it is — there is no requirement for a picture, and the limit is 63,206 characters, which no chat draft comes near. So this is the network where Claude’s habit of not passing attached files to connectors makes the least difference: the text goes, and that is the post.
When a picture is wanted, it travels the way all media does from Claude — as a public link to the file, up to 10 attachments per post. Publishing is to a Page you manage and chose when you connected, through Meta’s Graph API with a login in a browser, and a Page post can be deleted afterwards with the deletion confirmed.
Asking Claude for a Facebook post
The Facebook ceilings in this exchange come from the same table the publisher enforces — the conversation is drawn, the numbers are not.
Set me up — what do you need?
Just the accounts. Connect them in the browser once and I can publish from here after that.
Done, connected
I will tell you before publishing if a network cannot take what you wrote.
Good. Drafting the launch note now
Send it over and I will check it before anything goes out.

Scheduled for 11:00. You will get the link to the post once it is published.
What Facebook allows
Read from the same table the publisher enforces, so this cannot drift from what actually happens when you press send.

Publishing to Facebook from Claude
The long version goes out whole
Whatever length the conversation arrived at, the Page takes all of it. Facebook is the one network here that never needs anything cut.
No picture required
A text-only update is a complete Facebook post, so nothing has to be found, uploaded or linked before Claude can publish it.
Photos and video by link
When the post does need media, paste links to the files and they go out with the text, several to a post if you like.
Reported, not re-read
A Page post cannot be fetched without logging in, so a successful delivery rests on what Meta returned. The reply says so rather than overstating it.

Where the missing attachment does not matter
Claude in the browser and the apps did not pass a single attached file to our tools in the last month; every piece of media came as a link. On Instagram, TikTok and Shorts that is a step you have to plan for. On a Facebook Page it only comes up when you want a picture, because the Page will publish words alone. For a text update it is the network where the conversation and the post are closest to being the same thing.

When this is the wrong tool
This publishes to Facebook Pages only. If you were hoping to post to your personal profile from Claude, no tool can — Facebook’s API has no route for it. And if you need Page insights in depth, Meta’s own dashboards go much further than the engagement numbers that come back into the chat.
Questions people actually ask
Can Claude post to a Facebook Page?
Yes, with 1Social connected and the Page chosen. Claude calls the publishing tool, the post goes out through Meta’s Graph API, and the reply carries a link to it.
Does a Facebook post from Claude need a picture?
No. A text-only post is a complete Facebook post. If you want a photo or video with it, give Claude a public link to the file and it is attached.
Can Claude delete a Facebook post afterwards?
Yes. Ask Claude to remove it; the deletion goes through Meta’s API and is confirmed. Facebook is one of the networks where removing a post really works.
