LinkedIn · from Claude
The long, careful version you reached with Claude fits LinkedIn as it is. Say when, and it goes out at that hour where you are.
LinkedIn and Claude suit each other: Claude is where people work a piece out at length, and LinkedIn is the network with room to publish it whole — 3,000 characters, with up to 9 images. With 1Social connected, the end of that conversation is the instruction. Claude calls the publishing tool, the post goes out through LinkedIn’s own API on the Page you chose, and the reply confirms it by reading the post back.
Most LinkedIn posts are timed for the working day, so the time you name matters. Say “Tuesday at eight” and Claude passes that to the tool as a moment in your own timezone; the queue holds it on our side and publishes then, whether the conversation is still open or not. Nothing reads your feed or your messages — the connection is for publishing.
Asking Claude for a LinkedIn post
The LinkedIn ceilings in this exchange come from the same table the publisher enforces — the conversation is drawn, the numbers are not.
Set me up — what do you need?
Just the accounts. Connect them in the browser once and I can publish from here after that.
Done, connected
I will tell you before publishing if a network cannot take what you wrote.
Good. Drafting the launch note now
Send it over and I will check it before anything goes out.
Good, that is the one. Schedule it for LinkedIn on Tuesday at 8am my time
final draft in the conversation · no media
It fits LinkedIn whole. Here is when it will go:
Scheduled for Tuesday 08:00 in your timezone. I will confirm it once it is live.
What LinkedIn allows
Read from the same table the publisher enforces, so this cannot drift from what actually happens when you press send.

Publishing to LinkedIn from Claude
Room for the whole argument
A piece that took a long conversation to get right arrives on LinkedIn in full, without being cut to fit somebody else’s ceiling.
Eight in the morning, your morning
The time you give Claude is kept in your timezone, so a post aimed at the start of the working day does not land in the small hours.
Confirmed by reading it back
After publishing, the post is read from LinkedIn’s public page, so the reply is a confirmation rather than an assumption.
Publishing, and only that
Claude can post, schedule and remove LinkedIn posts. It cannot read your feed, your messages or your connections, because the access does not cover them.

The schedule that arrived without a timezone
A few of the schedules Claude sent us in the last month came as a bare clock time — “Tuesday 08:00” with no offset — and the tool refused them as invalid, because a time with no timezone could be any of two dozen different moments. Claude then sent the same request again with the offset attached, and it went through. Nothing was published at the wrong hour; the refusal is what prevented that. It is also why saying “my time” in the request is a good habit on a network where the hour of posting is half the point.
A rule of LinkedIn from Claude, not ours and not the network’s. Measured on a live account, 2026-10-27.
When this is the wrong tool
Posting to a personal profile is not what this does — it publishes to the Page you selected when you connected. And LinkedIn analytics are not available in the chat yet, so if the reason you are here is to ask Claude how your LinkedIn posts are performing, that part is not built.
Questions people actually ask
Can Claude post to LinkedIn?
Yes, once 1Social is connected and a Page chosen. Claude calls the publishing tool, the post goes out through LinkedIn’s API, and the reply confirms it after reading it back from the public page.
Will a scheduled LinkedIn post go out at my local time?
Yes. The time is sent with your timezone, and a time without one is refused rather than guessed, so the post cannot drift by hours. Saying “my time” in the request removes any doubt.
Can Claude read my LinkedIn feed or messages?
No. The connection only covers publishing and removing posts. There is no tool for reading your feed, your inbox or your network, and the access granted at sign-in does not include them.
