Cross-posting is easy to describe and irritating to do, because the networks disagree about almost everything. One takes a few hundred characters and another takes tens of thousands. Two of them refuse a post with no picture. Some chain a long piece into replies and the rest need it joined into one. Doing that by hand is why most people cross-post to a couple of places and give up on the rest.
Here you write the thing once and say where it goes. Each network receives the version it will actually accept, and anything that would be refused is raised before publishing rather than relayed afterwards as somebody else’s error message. What comes back is not a summary — it is one line per network, including the ones that did not work.

Each network gets a version it will accept. Where that means splitting or joining, it is done and stated; where it means the text will not fit, you hear about it first.
The refusals arrive early
A missing picture or an over-long caption is raised while you are still in the conversation, instead of coming back later as an error code written for a developer.

Why this is priced per delivery instead of per post
One post going to seven networks is 7 separate publishes on our side, each with its own upload, its own retry behaviour and in one case its own per-post fee charged to us in cash. Pricing that counts posts looks generous until the first person cross-posts properly, and then it loses money on exactly the users the product is for. So the unit here is a delivery: a post sent to four places costs four, and a post sent to all of them costs 7. It makes the cheap thing visibly cheap and the expensive thing visibly expensive, and nobody has to discover the real cost after subscribing.

When this is the wrong tool
This does not rewrite your post to suit each audience — it reshapes it to fit each network’s rules. If you want genuinely different copy per network, ask your agent for that and it will happily write it, but do not expect the product to invent it for you and call it tailoring.
Questions people actually ask
What happens to a long post on a network with a short limit?
You are told before it goes. Where the network chains, it goes out as a chain; where it does not, the parts are joined and checked against the joined length. What never happens silently is a post being cut down to fit.
Can I exclude a network from one particular post?
Yes — you say where it goes each time. Connected accounts are options rather than obligations, which matters most for the ones that need an image.
Does a failed network cost me anything?
A delivery that failed because of us, or because a network was down, does not count against your allowance. You also get 30 deliveries a month without paying anything at all.
