Bluesky · from Claude
Post to Bluesky from Claude.
Claude is good at the long version. Bluesky is good at chains. Between them, a careful argument becomes a thread people can actually follow.
A conversation with Claude often ends in something too long for a single Bluesky post and too good to cut down to one. That is the case Bluesky handles best: the piece goes out as a genuine reply chain of up to 25 posts, each inside 300 characters, root to reply to reply. Claude checks the draft first, sees how many parts it needs, and can rebalance the split before anything is sent.
Because Bluesky posts can be read without logging in, the chain is confirmed after publishing by reading it back from a public server — not from the service that made it. The account is connected once on the 1Social accounts page; nothing about it is typed into the conversation, and the reply in Claude reports what landed.
Asking Claude for a Bluesky post
The Bluesky ceilings in this exchange come from the same table the publisher enforces — the conversation is drawn, the numbers are not.
Set me up — what do you need?
Just the accounts. Connect them in the browser once and I can publish from here after that.
Done, connected
I will tell you before publishing if a network cannot take what you wrote.

It needs five parts. Here is how they split:
Published as a chain. Read back from the public server — five posts, connected in order.
What Bluesky allows

Publishing to Bluesky from Claude
The split is decided before posting
The check says how many parts the draft needs, so Claude can move a sentence between posts and make each one stand on its own.
Confirmed from outside
The finished chain is read back from Bluesky’s public view, which is the only way to know a thread is connected without trusting whoever made it.
Published on a timetable
A chain can be scheduled like a single post, so a thread drafted on Sunday can go out on Monday morning with the conversation long closed.
Replies come back to Claude
Likes, reposts and replies on the chain read back into the conversation, so the next draft can start from how this one landed.

Read the receipt
per networkOne line per network — what landed, what failed and why, and what genuinely could not be determined.
A timetable without anyone watching
Claude’s scheduled tasks can run a prompt on a timetable with your connectors attached — a weekly digest, a Monday thread of last week’s changes — and publish without you in the conversation. That is useful and worth setting up with care. The publishing tool still checks every draft against Bluesky before sending and still refuses what does not fit, but nobody is there to read the confirmation. So the receipt matters more than usual: ask the task to report each post’s outcome, and check that list the first few times.
A rule of Bluesky from Claude, not ours and not the network’s. From documentation, checked 2026-10-27.
When this is the wrong tool
Posts that mention other accounts with an @ are not dependable here yet, so threads full of mentions are better posted by hand for now. Deleting a chain also removes only its first post, leaving the rest up — the reply tells you how many parts remained.
Questions people actually ask
Can Claude post a thread to Bluesky?
Yes. With your Bluesky account connected to 1Social, ask Claude for a thread and it is published as a real reply chain, then confirmed by reading it back from a public Bluesky server.
Can Claude post to Bluesky on a schedule by itself?
Yes, with a scheduled task in Claude that has the 1Social connector available. Every post is still checked against Bluesky’s limit before it goes, and each outcome is recorded so you can review it later.
How many posts can one Bluesky thread from Claude have?
Up to 25. The check before sending says how many the draft needs; if the answer is uncomfortably high, that is usually a sign to ask Claude for a shorter version.
